2021
Founding
SANCTUARY premiered at Redeemer Presbyterian in NYC, funded by Calvin Vital Worship Grant Program. The audience watched the performance live as well as a bird's eye film.

2022-2023
Film Festivals
Sanctuary the film had a momentum film festival season. It was selected for 13 festivals nationally and internationally, awarded 3 times, and was a unanimously selected for the prestigious Palm Springs Dance Film Festival.

2024
Selah Created
SELAH, in collaboration Kaleigh Estby and The University of Notre Dame, is a contemplative work, a continuation of Hanson's SANCTUARY (2021). It invites viewers to pause and reflect on the painful beauty of resilience and the search for meaning in the midst of hardship. Funded by the Nyenhuis Faculty Development Grant.

2025
Film Debut at Presbyterian Association of Musicians National Conference
This conference brought SANCTUARY to church communities nationwide. In addition to the screening, Hanson focus was on involving congregational education and participation in classes in dance as a spiritual practice.

2026
Creative Arts Collective Grant
Lindsey Hanson is the honored recipient of a $250,000 Grant from The Creative Arts Collective to create four new installations over the course of 2026. This launches SANCTUARY into a longterm series of works called The Sanctuary Project.

Pillar Church
SANCTUARY will be performed at Pillar Church in Holland, MI April 2026 as part of the Creative Arts Collective Grant Program.
